Drinks price increase on Rotterdam ...maybe fleetwide?

Makes me appreciate that I qualified for the early booking bonus. Previous to this post most of what I drink would’ve been covered by the regular drink package. Now maybe not.

I imagine if one is consuming 15 alcoholic beverages per day, the monetary cost is likely to be second or third on one's list of worries.🤢

It doesn't say. I assume all the bottles are 750 ml.

In the past, if I'm remembering correctly, when the drink prices were raised then the Beverage Package limits were raised as well to cover the standard drinks.  Remember a few years ago the packages went from $9 max drinks to $11 when the drinks prices went up.

But that was before they allowed you to order a drink over the limit and pay the difference.  Maybe they plan to making more money this way.  It adds up.

Without a bar menu for common drinks, it is difficult to see what prices have gone up lately.

 

A review of the menus posted for my Koningsdam cruise in May show:

Room Service:

• sodas and Shirley Temple + $0.20
• Mimosas and Bloody Marys + $1.00

MDR

• Bloody Mary + $1.00
• Squeezed orange juice, Espresso and Cappuccino + $0.25

PG Dinner

• Espresso and Cappuccino + $0.25
• Cocktails, single malts, and liqueurs - price changes mixed

PG Lunch

• Espresso and Cappuccino + $0.25
• Cocktails, single malts, and liqueurs - price changes mixed

Tamarind Bar - no drink price changes

Nami Sushi - not listed (closed)

Rudi's Sel de Mer - not listed (closed)

Morimoto Drink Menu - new menu Morimoto Drink Menu

Wines in all venues - price changes mixed

So looking at the Morimoto Drink Menu there is one glass of wine and two sake options that would be included in the HIA package.
