Vista Ships - Aft Wrap Cabin

Recommended Posts

Are the cabins smaller as you go up?

Looks to be a sofa on 6?  and we stayed on 7 multiple times on the Vista and Horizon and no sofa but looked to be one in 6501 on the Venezia.

Thanks.

We've stayed in quite a few aft wraps, they have all been slightly different in layouts. Didn't strike me as smaller on higher decks. Hope this helps.

We stayed in cabin 6506 on the Venezia in September, and it had a nice sofa area. It does seem like all the cabins are different in that area. I know that we had binoculars in our cabin, but the cabin above us did not. Hope this video helps!

We were in Venezia 7494 in Sept. No sofa, no room for a sofa. There was a chair under the windows. The layouts do vary as the balconies are different. Oh, and no binoculars, so thanks @Jules8888 for letting us know we missed out, lol.

Although we had one of the larger  of the corner balconies, we only had 1 lounger where some others had 2 (yes, I'm talking to you 6506 😉 )

Our cabin was nothing like the one in @Jules8888 video. I couldn't find the cabin pictures I took, only the balcony.

My fav type of balcony cabin.  Cruised in MANY.  Typically the room gets smaller as decks rise due the aft slope of the ships.  Typically like 6th floor on most ships. Usually the smaller rooms mean you lose the couch.

Just off the Panorama, cabin 6469. The aft wraps do get smaller as they move up the ship with the 9th deck being tiny. Its balcony is also narrow and smaller. Our cabin was spacious, better than the standard cabin layout. The only negative is the closets are in a very awkward position with very little space between them and bed, it’s hard to fully open the doors. There are not shelves above the desk but it is bigger. The balcony is ginormous, very wide in addition to the length. I would only consider the 6th deck for an aft wrap on the Vista class ships. There are a lot of videos you can check out on YouTube.

Hi, is there any chance you still have the photos and/or video?  We're sailing in 6506 in September.

I see you’re sailing the pride next year. If ever there’s a time to book an aft wrap it’s on spirit class. We cruised in aft wrap 8268 on all 4 spirit ships (spirit, pride, miracle and legend) WOW! They are amazing with the living room, bedroom, dressing area and walk in closet. 👏

While I cannot remember exactly, I believe only the 5th floor does not have a separate room, but if I am wrong I am sure one of my friends will correct me.

Yes it was one deck that just had one big room, I thought it was deck 6 lol! We always stayed in 8268. One deck up  to lido. Some people complained sbout soot and garbage on the balcony but in all our cruises we never had one problem.

Or deck 4. 🤷‍♀️

No, deck 4 has the largest cabins and a fully covered deck. We had a Deck 4 aft wrap on the Miracle in November and have been on the Spirit and Legend in aft wrap cabins on the 7th deck. We like the 4th deck one best but they are all great. Except the 5th deck, those are small and not true suites.

Friends had deck 4 on miracle. If I remember correctly 🙄😵‍💫 it was a really big cabin but it was all one room(??) the one we were in on deck 8 had the separate  rooms.

Deck 4 suites have a spacious dressing room with an awesome make up mirror and vanity. I felt like a celebrity getting ready for Elegant Night! 😊 I saw videos like this one so just had to book one.

Oh I know your jaw drops to the floor when you walk into that cabin. DH “discovered” them years ago our first time on the spirit. In those “good old days” it was same fare as regular balcony. Then like all good things, people started talking about them and requesting them and of course the fare sky rocketed. Worth every penny! 👏👍
