waiting2retire Posted January 18 #2 Share Posted January 18 On my recent Rotterdam cruise, they were in the Navigator app only.
regnig Posted January 19 Author #3 Share Posted January 19 Two more questions then: 1-What happens if one doesn't have a have a smart phone with them? 2-Does this mean one has to take their phone on tour with them?
ChinaShrek Posted January 19 #4 Share Posted January 19 Your room key can work to verify your identity for a tour.
Skorpora Posted January 19 #5 Share Posted January 19 If you don't have a smartphone, the shorex folks can print your tickets for you. I have a smartphone, but there is often no free wifi at the tour meeting point. I don't want to be hot with roaming charges, so I screenshot my excursion tickets.

Last winter, nobody from shorex said anything about using the room key. They just said to use the app. I didn't want to take my cell to the beach, but it was the only way I knew to have a ticket. I think I've learned more about HAL here than I have from many cruises on HAL.

All is flux, the only constant is change.* *May or may not not apply to sailings on, before or after February 1, 2024.

We always use the tickets on our phone, but on a cruise this fall I decided ("just because") to see if my room card would work. It did. They just scan your card the same way as they scan the app ticket. Edited January 19 by jljcruise 1
Rare Haljo1935 Posted January 19 #10 Share Posted January 19 (edited) And recently, TV under "excursions" has a listing of meeting times and locations, which is something you see in the Navigator App that you need to know but obviously cannot see on your card.
