Any tips for sailing Apex.

Recommended Posts

We sailed on Apex last month. The shows were amazing!  We saw (and enjoyed) all 3 theatre productions, but the "not to be missed" of the bunch is Rockumentary.  We also enjoyed relaxing in the Magic Carpet.  Very unique space with great views.  If you like the pool, be sure to head out early for chairs on sea days.  Filled up fast.  Have fun!

Hi.

Many times on all Celebrity ships but this is the first time on an Edge Class. We sail in 3 days. What do you folks recommend?

Thanks

Kick back, chill out and enjoy. 🍻

Check your app everyday to be sure you dont miss an event you might be interested in.  We love the Edge Class ships.  Also Eden restaurant at night is excellent for dinner. Love the shows.

I prefer the Celebrity Today.

Sounds like aa plan.  Eden looks pretty cool. Shows sound great also.

We’re gonna have to walk the whole ship on the first day in order to figure where everything is located. We been on all the other ships and are quite familiar with where everything is. This will be a challenge.

😁

Thanks all

Absolutely make reservations for Eden....several times!! It was that good.

Also, the Eden cafe did nice breakfasts and lunches.

Loved the restaurant concept.  Enjoyed the different themed offerings.

Make sure you see the shows in the Club.  Get there early as seating is limited.

We're on Apex in May. Never been on Edge class before and wonder if we will be able to experience the four included restaurants if we have early dining. Anytime was not available when we booked last week.

No reserved TD (early or late) or ATD on the Apex.

Yes. Show up when you are ready to eat at any of the four MDRs of your choice. You can also request the menus from the other three MDRs.

On sea days, is there more than one of the dining rooms open for lunch?  Are breakfast and lunch in Eden at no charge?

The only MDR open for breakfast was the Cosmopolitan. We didn't do lunch in any of the MDRs but I would guess based on the breakfast setup it would be the same for lunch.

Well back from Apex   Spent 7 days.  First time on Edge class.

Been on 30 Celebrity cruises.  2 really outstanding features were the shows / theater were great.  Retreat lounge and private sunning are was the best. Not enough time in 7 days to really see it all and experience it all.  I am certain that a 14 day cruise would have been much better for the first time. We were lost the first 3 days

good first impression

Follow your nose.   Do what you want to do and discover the ship.  Don't try to follow and do exactly as others do.   You may miss something that you really like.

Check out the Eden area.   There is a bar, and a cafe.  It is open to all and different than the Eden restaurant.  It is one of our favorite places to hang out.  The bar is a hybrid of the WCB and Sky Lounge giving a view of the wake.

Read the reviews and then sift the chaff from the sand.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You won't have a problem getting to experience all 4 main dining rooms.  Especially if you eat on the earlier side..  we got to each restaurant around 5:45- 6 pm each night and were seated immediately.  (party of 4).  Have fun!
