nhraformula00 Posted February 7 #2 Share Posted February 7 https://watertaxi.com/ I would do this. you can ride it all day up and down the intercoastal, and it stops, you get on and get off. Great way yo see Ft. Lauderdale.

Great way yo see Ft. Lauderdale. Hands down best thing to do. You get to see amazing yachts and houses with a very knowledgeable crew. Plus you learn stuff like Desi Arnaz and Lucy Ball are responsible for putting Fort Lauderdale on the map for the Rich and Famous. It is in a Fort Lauderdale suburb about 10 miles west of Port Everglades.
DaveOKC Posted February 8 #6 Share Posted February 8 Everglades tour is an option. I am sure the ship will have one.
Shipsareus Posted February 8 Author #7 Share Posted February 8 We’ve not explored the list of excursions that HAL are offering. Thought we would reach out to the message boards first. So thank you for the assistance and suggestions.

We usually book a HAL excursion that is a tour of Ft Lauderdale, a paddle boat ride and ours had airport drop off. We have done this same tour many times. The tour changes slightly with the different tour guides and we always enjoy our relaxing day. We did the Everglades tour through HAL and I do not recommend this tour. I wonder if instead of an airport drop off if you could return to the ship?
capriccio Posted February 13 #11 Share Posted February 13 Cruise lines frequently offer an excursion to Flamingo Gardens which is also interesting. It is both a botanical garden and a local wildlife rehab facility and sanctuary. www.flamingo gardens.org
