Ice cream on Zaandam?

We will be on the Zaandam for the first time this May.

Do they have an area that serves ice cream by the pool area?

All I see by on the Lido is the Dive In.

They do have a little ice cream area in the Lido buffet area. I don’t recall any gelato, but it did have standard ice cream for sure.

There is for sure ice cream, cones or cups, within the Lido. It was not immediately next to the pool deck, but my memory is that it had 4 flavors (vanilla, chocolate, flavor of the day, and a Sugar Free selection).

There is an ice cream station in the Lido, not out by the pool. On my cruise, the lines for ice cream were always very long, and sometimes flowed into the lines for the other desserts. It also meant if all you wanted were cookies, you had to stand in the ice cream line or cut in to just get the cookies. Poor planning on the layout, but very nice ice cream.

As an aside tip, if you visit Canaletto for dinner, they serve Gelato.

I was going to suggest that, too☺️!  The gelato stand by the pool on Pinnacle Class ships is very popular, and I have suggested that it be implemented on other ships, but so far, no.

I am just off the Zaandam 4 weeks cruise. I consider myself an expert in the ice cream served on the Zaandam. At the end of the Lido buffet toward the middle elevators port side they have ice cream at lunch and dinner. Also cookies and other deserts. They also had a soft serve machine at that location. Usually only one choice of soft serve. But, they had multiple choices of ice cream. They occasionally have a sorbet. One day they had an ice cream social at the Lido pool area around 2 pm. No ice cream at the late night opening of the Lido. Hope that helps.
