wondersea Posted April 12 #1 Share Posted April 12 Does anyone know how much gratuity is on Wonder of the Sea? We are planning to pay by cash. Can we pay it early on during the cruise to avoid the line ups and having to carry the cash around?
cruiseguy1016 Posted April 12 #2 Share Posted April 12 The fee is $18 per person per day if you are staying in a non-suite. You can pay in advance through your TA or RCI if you booked direct. You don't have to wait until you board to pre-pay.

If not prepaid prior to the cruise, gratuities are automatically charged daily to your on board SeaPass account. Unless you opt out of automatic gratuities with guest services, you do not pay in cash nor wait in any kind of line to do so. You can always pay individuals that you feel deserve more than the recommended auto charged amount in cash on your own, but that is strictly optional. BTW all on board purchases (except with the casino) are cashless and transacted by way of your SeaPass card. Ashland Posted April 12 #4 Share Posted April 12 If you can pre-pay them with a call to your TA or RCI...we find this easier instead of seeing that charge each day.
smokeybandit Posted April 12 #5 Share Posted April 12 (edited) You could also go to guest services the first day and pay in cash up front just enough to cover those gratuities for the week. Edited April 12 by smokeybandit
Trailcon Posted April 12 #6 Share Posted April 12 I have always prepaid that way any charges to my onboard account are highlighted. I have found this makes it lest complicated. YMMV
