10:07, headed south in our Uber. $75, ordered it while we were about 5 minutes walk from the rideshare pickup, arrived less than one minute before he did.

How was the taxi line? Was it a Uber XL again with all that luggage?

Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Good luck with the follow up interview!

Sounds promising! Good luck!

Good news on the interview!! I remain employed.

We took an Uber comfort small Tesla. Just 3 bags and 3 personal items.

Traffic approaching Departures at airport was a crawl, 20 minutes or so.

Our two rooms were 9233 and 9633, just a few steps in front of the aft elevator bank.

They were the same room category and each accommodates 2 passengers in a king or two twins.

By the way we are through security and settled at our gate. Our flight is slightly delayed and we board in just under two hours.

It might have been faster to take our Uber to Westlake then Link light rail, but the kids and I have had enough complicated logistics to deal with for one week.

As expected and mentioned previously there is a locked door leading to a “vestibule” containing only these 2 adjacent rooms. The vestibule can also be bolted from the inside.IMG_4393.thumb.jpeg.a9b608a906690572ec941888bd8bf079.jpeg

This room configuration appears to exist on other decks, but I didn’t confirm those have the vestibule door. If I recall correctly, on other decks the two rooms were either a slightly different category or different passenger capacity and thus didn’t work as well for us.

Our two virtual balconies had two different views, one from each side of the ship.

At some point I peeked into a regular interior with balcony along the long room corridor, and its balcony screen was on the short far wall where a real balcony would usually be. You walked around the bed to get to it.

Vestibule door bolt engaged from the inside. We also used the bolts to our 2 rooms to then lock those doors open so we could use the space as a suite.IMG_4370.thumb.jpeg.be61da15a2946a59e590c147a74fcb3f.jpeg

That could get interesting if the two parties didn't know each other and one locked the other out of their cabin.

Agreed. The vestibule is usually propped open with a doorstop but my room attendant allowed us to close it. I only bolted it for bedtime.

Our pub is Amber and Oak: is this the venue you mean?

Thank you so much. Sorry about the incorrect name of pub.  It looks  like the gluten free beer is not listed….might need to ask for it.🤷🏻‍♀️
