BamaVol Posted May 12 #1 Share Posted May 12 The app has started to populate and I can see 7 nights of entertainment, excluding bar and piazza acts. I would like to hear from cruisers who have seen any of this. Especially interested in knowing what may not be appropriate for 7 and 11 year old grandkids. Comedy Magic - Jason Bird Laugh Lounge - Steve Caouette Production Show - Spotlight Bar Showtime: Vocalist - Brianna Faulk Laugh Lounge - Orlando Baxter Production Show - 5 Skies Showtime: Hypnotist - Richard Barker Laugh Lounge - Derrick Cameron Production Show - Rock Opera

mtnesterz Posted May 12 #3 Share Posted May 12 We walked out of 5 Skies and far from alone in doing so. Appeals to the video game generation. I'm sure there are fans, as mentioned above. YMMV. The others acts I don't know. As far as other entertainment on the ship for a 7 and 11 year old. They showed Poor Things in the theater this month (on a port day). Clearly labeled it an R rating on the Event Listings, still JMHO, this movie is not consistent with a company which markets itself to families. Nothing was inappropriate, unlike Grease on RCI or one of the musicals on NCL Getaway back in 2018. 2 minutes ago, mtnesterz said: We walked out of 5 Skies and far from alone in doing so. Appeals to the video game generation. I disagree. I loved it and I was 48 and not a gamer at all. My 11 yo wasn't impressed just because he doesn't care about singing or dancing all that much, and he didn't care that it was "video game adjacent". I didn't see anyone walk out... Now, tons of people walked out of Cats on Oasis, including us... Edited May 12 by Itchy&Scratchy
Rare JGmf Posted May 13 #5 Share Posted May 13 From personal experience: Hated "Rock Opera" - it was like a campy spoof of a European Song Contest singing tired old songs in gaudy costumes. From hearing others after the show and wished I saw it: Spotlight Bar - people said it was lively and the cast was very talented
