Just received email that the carriers for this year are TUI,Norse Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic.  Norse have a fleet of Dreamliners. So better than last years offering of Maleth.  Virgin Atlantic will offer the chance of upgrading to upper class on their flights.  Last time Virgin were used was a mixture of A330 and A350 planes

Good news is that flight team have worked hard to standardise the charter offering across the three airlines:

- Economy and Premium offerings on all airlines; Virgin to Upper Class too.

- Standardised luggage offering;

- Inflight entertainment in all cabins;

- Amenity kits in Premium and Upper Class;

- Main meal plus lighter second meal/snack

- Complimentary drinks service before meal, with main meal and a bottle of water. Premium and Upper Class cabins will receive additional drinks.

- Direct aircraft to ship transfer.

- Direct aircraft to ship luggage transfer.

Norse using B787 Dreamliners:

- MAN to BGI weekly on a Friday

- MAN to BGI/AGU* weekly on a Saturday (for Arvia)

- LGW to BGI/AGU* weekly on a Saturday (for Arvia)

Virgin using A350:

- LHR to BGI fortnightly on a Friday (for Arvia)

*depending upon Arvia location.

Tui continue to operate remainder of Barbados flights as previously announced.

We are with TUI, but for those worrying about airlines after last year's issues this can only be good news with Virgin and this new company - who look really good, with great aircraft. 🙂

Ooh Birmingham wasnt an option when I booked, wonder if they will let us change from London airport to Birmingham, that would save us a lot of hassle.

We are going on a Saturday to Arvia, cant see the carrier for that?

When we enquired it was £500 per person to upgrade to Premium Economy. As there's 4 of use we decided it wasnt worth it.

I’m glad that this has finally been announced. Norse are good, so Virgin Atlantic.

Lets hope they are not too good or people will start complaining about Tui😁

Problem is Maleth let a lot of people down very badly and have not honoured the payment of flight compensation.  They are clearly not honourable and have somewhat tarnished P&O's reputation by association.  Not one person has received a payment and one vlogger is now pursuing them via other routes.

That's  still going on is  it?

I kind of feel P and O themselves should be making sure the compensation gets sorted one way or another

Unfortunately. It's really very poor for those who were affected.

From Manchester we had to pay £1200 extra for the Premium seats.for a special cruise. Well worth it for such a long flight if you can afford it, especially if you are tall ...so hubby tells me.

You can only book both ways no option for one way only

What happens on repositioning cruises where you sail out or sail back thus only having a one way flight?

They charge for one way at half price.

Be interesting to see what they charge for the Virgin Upper Class

Used to be £1,099 but may have gone up as it was a while ago. Was previously a reasonable upgrade.

Asked if we could fly from Birmingham and got told no, then asked about upgrade to Premium for our Gatwick flight and they said there is no Premium seating. Feeling slightly deflated.

Presume £1099 each way , still reasonable,  but expect it has gone up.

For Arvia,  ir must be circa 12 full planes worth of passengers, a big ask no wonder 3 airlines

Can you check this out before you book. Or is it a gamble on airport and class of travel.
