how do I connect to the internet?

Recommended Posts

I purchased the internet package with me having 3 devices (because it was cheaper than the 3 of us each having one device) how am I notified what the password and all that is?  Do I have to wait in the long guest services line?  Do they notify me somehow?

There will be instructions in your cabin how to connect to the internet for the first time which includes your first name, year of birth, cabin number, a username and password of your choice.  The system will know you have paid for 3 devices.  Each device will use the same username and password.

Don't forget to go into airplane mode when you board the ship.

Then join the WiFi on board such as 'WiFi-Guest-Shipname'.  If it doesn't prompt you at that point, open a web browser and go to logout.com.  It should be self-explanatory, just follow the prompts.

If you can't figure it out find a Voom specialist, usually in the promenade, esplanade or centrum on boarding day.

Totally agree there.  While GS can help with some of the basics, it's the Voom person that is the one to use...as long as he/she is at their desk.  😑

We had to go see a Voom specialist bc of some settings that were on my Iphone and difficulty connecting.  The specialist said google products are easier to connect than apple products. Just make sure you try to refresh your browser if you get logged off or open a new internet browse window altogether.  I would often have to  reconnect by logging back in but it was just an extra step - never had to go back to the Voom desk after the first day,

What's an esplanade?

Q class version of promenade. It’s not straight like the promenade but same idea.

OK, now I got it. Thanks.
