Boston Airport to Hyatt Place Seaport???

Recommended Posts

We are scheduled to arrive at Logan Airport on Friday, July 5, 1:00 pm before we depart on Volendam the following day.  What would be the easiest way to get from there to our hotel?  Taxi, Uber, public transportation, etc???  We are mid 70s and will have 2 suitcases each.  Any information/suggestions are welcome.  We plan to take Uber/Lyft to the ship on Saturday. Thank you.

When we stayed there last October we took Uber. If I remember right we had a friendly driver suggest next time take taxi it would be less money. We are staying there again this October before a cruise again and  will take taxi this time. I don't remenber what we paid for the uber.

They're pretty much at parity. Uber charges $16-19 usually from Logan to the Seaport. Taxis can cost on the lower end of that but if you get stuck in traffic, which can happen often with the meter running, it can cost more. Keep in mind Boston taxis have a flag drop of $2.60 plus you are paying the tolls for the Williams Tunnel.

Uber pickup at Logan is also fairly easy with the designated zone. I find Uber there to be more efficient, better quality cars than the worn out taxis, and about the same cost.

No to cause trouble, but a major tunnel to Boston, the Sumner Tunnel begins total closure for repairs, beginning July 5, 2024 for its second summer.  Perhaps call the hotel for their wisdom!  And do a little more poking around on Massport sight and MBTA.  Also look at water shuttle….

once you get settled it will be great!!!
