Casino Question

Hello, new to MSC and a few casino questions....

For cruises that originate and end in the US....do the slots take USD or Euros?

For non-US cruises, is their an easy/inexpensive way to convert USD to Euros for gaming?

For folks that have done gaming on Celebrity S and E class ship casinos, how do the MSC casinos compare?

Thanks very much

I have only cruised on MSC Divina and i would say they are about the same.  There seemed to be a little more space between the machines on Divina than on Millennium but nothing significant.

I find the casinos on MSC to be very hot (temperature) due to the intense puck lighting they have beaming down on the gaming floor AND the heat generated by all the slot machines jammed into a very tight floor space.  On the other hand, I've seen some very nice wins on MSC and it is not taxed.  Celebrity casinos are more airy, cooler and do not allow smoking.  I've also seen some nice wins on Celebrity...which are taxed after a certain limit on a single jackpot.  Both have been hit and miss on drink service.  For me it's a coin toss.  I like them both for different reasons.  On MSC I wear one of these in the casino:

On Celebrity, I wear a cardigan in the casino.

$1,200 exactly and up.

Yes, thank you!  On our Edge cruise earlier this month I gave DH a $100 bill and insisted he play the machine across the aisle from me because I has seen a lady win $1800 on it the day before.  He is not a gambler but took the money begrudgingly.  I asked him to play the max bet of $5 until the money was gone.  Every time it gave him a win of say $2.50 he say, "oh yay, I got half my money back".  I told him to keep playing.  Toward the end of his $100 jaunt, he went into a bonus round and came away with a $2800 hand pay!  That kept him quiet for a bit.  I didn't gloat...
