Monarch pool opening time??

When does the pool on the Monarch open the 1st day of 3 day trip? Is it open during sail-away?

Don't know about Monarch, but on Grandeur earlier this month, the pools were already open when we boarded at noon. They were open 24 hours a day (hot tubs closed for the wee hours).

Just got off the Monarch 3 day. One of the pools was open when I got onboard and already filled with people.

The pools will be open when you board-- wear or carry your bathing suit with you on board. If you arrive too early, you may not be able to get into your room, so the pool deck is a good option until your room is ready!

Glad I asked! As we are driving in I plan on being there as early as possible to enjoy every last minute on the ship! Now I'll plan on diving in the pool with a cocktail at noon!:D

I sure hope it warms up enough for you to swim. We have been having the coldest spring I can remember! Ensenada has weather pretty much the same as ours.

Yeah, at the moment we are getting the storms LA had this morning so I'm also hoping this is all done in a couple of weeks and the sun is shining on us!:D Either way, I'll still be on deck with a coctail at sailaway....wet ONE way or the other! LOL

The pool was actually really warm. It was just out of the water that we were standing there in our sweaters looking to go back inside.

If it's warm enough to swim off of the beaches of Los Angeles........it will be warm enough to swim in the Monarch's pool.

Update on the weather.

 

I think it is colder here now than at any time this past winter. Although, we did have a bit of sunshine today. The weather prediction for Friday, April 14 is 63 degrees and raining :( . I sure hope it all blows away and you have your sun. If that doesn't happen, just make that cocktail a hot toddy and enjoy the view from Viking Crown Lounge!
