i am curious, are you the kind of cruiser who is early to bed and early to rise or are you the stay up real late and sleep in during your cruise vacation or do you treat it like vegas and get very little sleep at all . what do you generally like to do if you are a late nighter sit in the casino till it closes or catch all of the great shows or just explore the ship . if you are an early bird do you maybe go for early breakfast or maybe go to the gym for a bit or for a walk? i am a late nighter as i like to play in the casino for awhile and then just go up on deck and look out over the ocean especially if i can see other ships ( rare but does happen )

Stay up late as I can, and get up early as I can. Sometimes, I will snooze through some of the shows, then get a second wind, and explore the ship into the wee hours. It is great looking out into the dark ocean, or to stargaze in the middle of the ocean. Then, in the morning, I love to watch the sun rise, take in a little exercise in the gym first thing, grab a quit bite to eat, then off for a shower and shore excursions, or to find a deck chair for the sea days. We always take the deck chairs on the deck above the pool that overlook the ocean. Love to watch the waves go bye all day long!

I can always sleep when I get home. I don't want to miss any of my cruise!

if we are at sea.. stay up late, hit the casino or nightclub, and the show

sleep in

porting , go to bed early and get up early and take a nap when we come back on the ship ...

mostly like to sleep in though since it is a vacation and we dont have to get up early to take any kids to school or go to work :p

Anyone who knows me that hasn't cruised with me, doesn't believe me. I am, by nature, kind of lazy. I don't like to get going, and often find myself doing bare minimums of mostly everything. Fast forward to vacation, especially cruise vacation. I usually wake up, without alarm by 5:30 or 6:00. Take a shower, get ready, and stroll about. It's like I have the whole ship to myself. There are a few others out, but not many. The most people you see are headed to the spa to workout. It's so quiet. You see the crew cleaning and preparing for the day. It's a great time to see dolphins, or hear whales, because there is no other commotion going on. Do I need to mention the sunrises? Then, I make my way up to the Windjammer for breakfast. The fruit has just been cut, and the bacon has just been fried. After breakfast, it's off to the solarium to get a quick nap (half hour, tops), and I'm ready for what the day brings. We do late seating dinner, go back to the cabin, change into comfy clothes, and hit a bar or lounge until about 12 or 1.

Try a little morning stuff one day, and a little nightlife the next. You'll know what your favorite is. And honestly, it's ALL great. Happy cruising:):D

Never been to bed before 01.00 rarely before 02.00. Time spent between casino and disco. Then in the morning long lie in.

If in port still have a lie in and get off the ship late unless on a tour. But booking fewer and fewer of them these days.

This leads to:-

:):)Very Happy Cruising:):)

I'm an old farm girl. I get up at about 4 or 4:30, always - whether I'm on a cruise or at home (retired now). I like to go to bed between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Those are the hours that best suit my body's clock and I try to keep to that schedule when we're cruising. I often skip the show and just go back to the cabin and read. Having spent 17+ years in Reno, we don't gamble. Nothing wrong with it, we just don't.

My DH is delighted to have 'owl' friends along for our next cruise as he usually has to night it alone.

Usually I am up around 6:30am and in bed around 11:00pm. I

really enjoy early morning coffee and the quietness of the ship.

My husband and sons sleep in until 8 or 8:30am. I go ahead and

grab some breakfast at the buffet and read for awhile. Then I go

back to the cabin to see if famliy is awake, yet.

We go nonstop all day long it seems, so by 11pm we are all winding

down, even my 12 and 16 year olds! I have a theory about this

though, because we actually stay up later at home on the weekends

than we do on a cruise.

Too much to do to sleep:D . I get very little sleep on a cruise. I like to stay up half the night and get up very early. There is so much I don't want to miss out on. But this time, I think I'll do more relaxing by the pool instead of trying to keep up with going to all the activites.

First seating is great, then ready for a show or two, ballroom dance a bit. Sit and listen to a musician or group. Maybe the library for a book, watch fellow cruisers dancing up a storm or just having fun on the high seas. Sleep a bit:D if I wake up at 2am sneak down to the internet cafe (no lines) The ship is still active in the wee hours. Play some trivia with the night duty purser to keep him sharp during his "watch". Look at the art on the walls. ENJOY THE SHIP AND THE PEACE AND QUIET AT SEA.;) :D Doesn't get much better then that.
