Guests in the CL

Hi we are Diamond members and will be travelling with another couple who aren't, we we be able to take them into the concierge lounge as our guests?

But we were able to take our cocktails out to have with our friends in another bar or lounge. On the Explorer in February it was just so crowded in the CL we just walked out. In January 2007 on the Freedom the CL allowed us to use paper cups in order to take them out. Either way we got the free cocktail and still got to sit with our friends.

The Diamond Lounge & the CL seem to be very crowded now so I am sure you won't be encouraged to invite guests in. As the poster above stated, even when it is just those who are qualified it can be a bit tight. This will be our first time in a Diamond Lounge so we will see how crowded it is. We have never cruised when the CL was too crowded to stay but that could have changed also. Hope you enjoy your trip no matter what.

On a January cruise, the CL was so crowded even we couldn't get in and we are Diamond members. Plus the consierge was not a welcoming or pleasant sort of person, so we did not even feel welcome there.

Depends on who your concierge is. Sometimes they will, and some won't allow them at all.

Depends on who the concierge is. On Serenade (1/26/08) there were a lot of Diamond and D+ guest plus the usual suite guests. Since there were so many, Maritza, felt she couldn't accommodate everyone so she reserved the Vortex and held the evening reception there. Wide open space and a bartender to serve drinks. It was great. And Maritza spent time with each and every guest every evening. She is the best!
