Cabin Help?

Now that we are set on the Navigator in an inside promenade cabin is there any particular side of the ship or cabin location that would be more favorable for us.

I wouldn't think the side would matter in an inside cabin. The center (or near to it) is likely best as you feel less motion (so less risk of seasickness) and closer to most public rooms. Be sure to check out deck plans on the rccl.com website and check what is directly above and below you (i.e. try to book one with other cabins below and above you rather than pools, restaurants, or lounges which can cause a noisy environment).

An inside room is an inside room.* If you spend most of your time at the pool, it'd be nice to be on an upper deck, so you won't have to use the elevators everytime you want to run back to the room!Check the deck plans and see where you think you'll spend most of your time, and book a cabin nearby!

I am talking about the inside cabins that overlook the promenade on Deck 5.

 

They have a window overlooking this promenade deck.

You want to be more towards the center of the promenade than the ends, for the best view. As well, if you are on Deck 6, make sure your promenade cabin is not over the lounge or the bar because you might hear the music (especially the bass tones) into the wee hours of the morning. I'd choose a deck 7 location because it's between two passenger cabins, yet closer to the promenade sights than deck 8.

I agree with Merion Mom. That cabin would be one of the best locations on the Promenade.

Watch out for being over the pub or bar on the Royal Promenade. We were in a PR cabin on deck six over the Duck and Dog pub on Adventure and we could hear the entertainment below.
