This subject keeps coming up on a regular basis, so I started to wonder how many of us are or are not smokers.

 

In order to keep this thread civilized, I ask you to only answer YES, NO or I USED TO BUT QUIT. I'll post the results later.

 

I'll start off by posting NO.

I quit May 28,1997 after 16 years as a smoker!! When I quit my DH asked what I was going to do with the money I was saving and I said that was easy....I got a cleaning lady!! I'll never smoke again (or do the weekly house cleaning)

Quit smoking cigs 6 years ago after 20 years of 2 packs a day. Got tired of raising prices and quit cold turkey, it's a mind thing.

 

Now, I'm a pipe smoker. 100% tobacco and none of the crap that they put into cigs.

Nothing worse than a reformed smoker....Two packs a day... August 24, 1984.... I couldn't afford to smoke and cruise....Glad I stopped smoking.

I quit smoking, cold turkey, on the last day of a cruise in Mar. 2000. Never wanted another cig., and that was after 35 yrs. of 1&1/2 packs a day. Guess I was just ready to quit.

Just for your info, if you're a pipe smoker, you still smoke the same stuff! Pipe tobacco is just as bad for you as cigarettes. An informed smoker is a non-smoker!
