Enchantment Cabin question

Recommended Posts

I'm currently booked on a deck 2 outside cabin. The windows look pretty small. I can pay a bit more and upgrade to a deck four outside cabin with what looks to be bigger windows, which will also put us on the same floor as the main dining room, but it looks like it's pretty close to being right underneath Boleros. Would that be noisy? Also, it seems like all the remaining outside cabins are on the port side. Is starboard the preferred side of the ship to be on? Are the cabins pretty much the same from one deck to the next, other than the size of the windows? Has anyone been in a deck 2 exterior cabin that can tell me if they were happy with it?

the side doesn't really matter as you never know what side will face what...depends on the captain, pilot and tide conditions.

as for the rest....we had a cabin OVER the spotlight lounge where they had karaoke and it was VERY noisy until after midnight.

personally i prefer to be between decks of cabons.....but NOT under any big suite that may have a piano.

being near the dining room wouldn't be bad....but i wouldn't want to be under boleros or the casino...........IIRC boleros often had a crowd dancing...and a band.

Looks like I might be booking the Enchantment soon and I need to know about bed placement on an Ocean View cabin.

Is the head of the beds under the window or is the head of the bed on one of the side walls?

Hi Janine,

Post your pics on photobucket and then copy and paste the link they give you on here. Then all people will have to do is click the link.

It worked for me and if I can do it anyone can.

The head of the bed is on the outside wall. If you have them separate the beds into twins, you can actually get a better view looking out the window; also, you get more moving about room in the cabin.

Thanks, because we do separate the beds and that's exactly what I needed to know. That middle space gives so much more room to move about and to see outside.

If you click on the IMG Code under a picture in Photobucket to highlite it and then copy (Ctrl + C) you can paste (Ctrl + V) the picture and it's URL as a link in your post.

Anyone who wanted to save it could left click on the picture and select the save or save as option.

Good job with the pics.

I found the site very slow too when I tried to post pics from our last cruise

Thanks Bob...

( psss you made the pictures big so now everyone can see my captain:eek: LOL)

Yes, I noticed it also.

I just copied the IMG Code directly off of your photobucket pictures so they are linked to your album there. They were on the large size at 163 and 123 KB for posting on CC. Right click on photo and select properties for size, URL (address) and other info. To get a smaller image just reduce the resolution size. I try for 50 to 70 KB photo size for posts here.

What captain? I didn't see any captain. :)

Those pictures are so cool with the water. Was it that high the entire cruise?

that was leaving port only luckily-- the rest of the trip was perfect...

  • 2 weeks later...

Just got off Enchantment and was on Deck 2. Saw no problem with it. Clearly it was our best deal which is why we booked it.

I would rather be lower- you don't hear as much noise and don't feel the boat rocking as much. We were 4 cabins away from the elevator which was great since it wasnt' a far walk. There are many elevators and they all come fast.
