How many at a table?

There are nine of us traveling together. All the reservations are linked together so we dine together. Will there be other people at our table or just us 9? We would prefer just our grouping but were wondering if they would add more to our table.:confused:

There are definitely tables for 10 - I would imagine they would just leave it for your party, but you never know.

Unless the ship or dining room is overcrowded, they will probably place you at a table of 10. My advice is to try and get a round table of 10. It is so much more condusive for conversation than the rectangular or oblong tables. So on the day of departure, go down to the Matre'D and check out your table. At the same time, ask your question. PS: you can ask for a table of 10. That would limit the number of other people they could sit at your table.

You will be fine with your party of nine. They will put you at a ten top and your ten top will fill out their dining room plan very nicely. And with nine of you at a ten top, you all will have a little more space. Extra room for those appetizers.

Are there tables for 12, or is 10 the max?

They do have 12 tops. On our last Voyager cruise, we had a party of 14. They stretched a 12 top to enable our party of 14 to enjoy dinner. It was a bit tight, a bit awkward, but it was what we wanted. And they did what we asked.
