Bridge tours on Carnival?

Anyone ever get a bridge tour on a Carnival ship? We asked on Miracle in May and were told they did not offer bridge tours. (We had a bridge tour on Princess just last year.)

I've been on the bridge twice but it's a very rare event....

Due to the security restrictions placed on the industry after 9/11 it's become increasingly unusual...

They stopped giving the tours right after 911.

I've been on twice with carnival, but it was a private tour. I think it is only offered on rare occasions or to certain parties.

We did it last year, but it was strictly upon invitation by the Captain.

On the NCL Pearl, there was a "bridge viewing room" with a glass wall which let you see into the bridge. It was like a museum in there. It is a great idea in ship design - all ships should have this sort of area.
