Has anyone ever won money in a Carnival Casino?

Gamblers love to talk about the biggest payout they got. Truth is, unless you won on your first trip to the casino and never gambled again, everyone eventually loses more than they win. A lot more.

If you look at it as entertainment, then it's good clean fun.

If you look at it as a chance to win big money, it's not so fun.

Last October on the Inspiration, the man next to my SIL won 17000 on a penny slot machine. I think he gave alot of it back because that was at the begining of the trip and every time I went in the casino after that, he was in there. He was feeling no pain everytime, never without a drink in hand.... I believe he had already booked another cruise before we docked back in Tampa. I on the otherhand, only make deposits... oh well, I have fun. ;)

If I had won $17K in the casino, my gambling days for that cruise would be over, and I would be figuring out what to do with the money. I guarantee that putting it back in the casino would not be one of the options I consider!

I won $1200.00 on the 2c slot machine BUT but get this.. I know of a woman who hit $5000.00 on a slot machine.. and I know another woman who almost fainted because of it... here we go

i was playing a machine and a gentleman next to me was playing my favorite.. I couldnt WAIT for him to leave and sure enough.. within 30 seconds of his leaving.. i had my butt in his chair.. thats fine perfect i have my favorite little game

along come two little elderly ladies.. about 80ish... and they sat beside me ( on the machine i just left ) uh huh u see whats coming.. they spoke immediately and werent real sure what to do pull the handle or press a button or or... three pulls later cling cling cling $5000!!

They were soooooo overwhelmed one lady kept asking me you mean real money?? 5 thousand dollars?? we'll get it for ourselves??

( of course in my mind i was thinking why didnt that guy stay for just 5 minutes longer, why did i change machines, why didnt he spend more time there, why why why ) lol

im happy for them, they were elated.. but lets be honest.. id be more happy if it were me! :)

Well, I'm no expert, but from what I've been told, unless you'd spun the reels at the exact same split second that they did every time up until the winning spin (and of course there is ZERO percent chance of that happening), you wouldn't have won what/when they did. The machines aren't set that a certain spin (say, the twenty-third spin from now) will be a jackpot. It's a computerized random sequence generator and any variation down to a fraction of a second will change the outcome.

I only play Blackjack. On 6 Carnival cruises, I've won three times and lost three times. It's been over the course of 9 years, so I don't remember every detail, but I think the wins were slightly bigger than the losses. Don't get me started on my blackjack experience on Celebrity. I've lost my butt both times I've sailed with them, effectively doubling the cost of my cruises...

My wife won $2700 on the Wheel of Fortune on the Valor recently. It was a $900 Blue 7's with a "Triple" involved. It was a "cash" payout.

On the last night, she was greeted with a W2G form from Carnival

My wife plays Fun 21 and I play Roulette. She broke even this cruise (Paradise 7/13) and I walked away from the Roulette table with enough to cover the S&S account and part of the next cruise. (with only $60 of my own money invested)

We have done pretty good with our cruise casino time. Much better than our Vegas time. We never win in Vegas.

Play slots first 2 or 3 days, stay away on last 2 days. can't prove, but I believe they reset machines,

The reason you can not prove it is because it does not happen.

I use to work in the Casino business in Nevada and had some friends that have workd slots on RCI and Carnival. First hand knowage they do not reset they do not reset them.

I've never heard this before. I'd love to know if it is true.

Ok, I am truly shocked! I thought nobody wins on cruises! I can't believe you all won that much! Are there more winners at the beginning of the cruise or the end or does it matter?

Thats because the big losers can't afford internet.

9 Cruises and I figure we are about even. Sometimes I've finished up sometimes I've finished down.

I brake even most of the time, but last cruise on the Esctasy I heard a woman screaming and went to look only to find that she had won $2500 on the .25 slots. So, the answer is YES you can win.

I was on the same Ecstasy cruise as you. I think I heard that woman scream also. I was winning at the 3 card poker table. Then they shut down the casino because we got back to Galveston 12 hours early.

I limit myself.. $40 a day.. $20 in the morning and $20 in the evening. I did win $500 on a slot machine. Third day of my cruise and I did not play again on that cruise. I know myself too well and hidden inside of me a compulsive gambler.
