No need for Aruba currency....... just about the whole Caribbean uses U.S. $$

Read the OP's post. They want to change Aruban currency for US dollars. I'm guessing they have Aruba money and want to get US dollars for that money. That's why they asked if Aruba's ATM's give out US dollars.

Their ATM's don't dispense US dollars. The only ATM's that dispense US money are in the US only, not foreign countries.

This is incorrect. Many ATM machines in Aruba dispense US money.

If you have Aruban Florin, I'd head over to Crystal Casino. (diagaonal from the pier) You should be able to change it there for US $$. You may need to tell them you're going to play the slot machines. There's also an ATM there that dispenses US $$.

Please accept my apologies for misunderstanding. I am so sorry to have misread the post. I'll try harder in the future and regret any inconvenience I may have caused.

Some foreign countries use US money as their own. Ecuador is one. Made DD's school trip to the Galapagos a lot easier.

that's not always true some countries have machines that give you a choice. Some of the Caribbean countries use dollars interchangeable and ask you what you want.

That makes no sense. You can't put any money into an ATM and get another currency out.

I think OP's question was poorly worded and they just want to know if they can get US$ from ATMs in Aruba.

And yes, you can.
