  1. In my experience, you will see things priced in Kroner, Euros and Dollars.
  2. This divides into two separate cases. The first is if you are streaming from the aircraft entertainment system to your device via the onboard wifi. In this case, you would have the usual connectivity between your device and your headphones. If you are instead viewing on the aircraft display screen, then you likely won't have bluetooth to your headphones. This is available on some aircraft, but I can't say if you would or would not have this functionality on your specific aircraft. So, if you want to go bluetooth, the best solution is stream to your own device and listen just as you would anywhere else.
  3. Just use your credit cards. No need for local currency.
  4. Correct. There are some airports where you can do a connection with liquids in a STEB (Security Tamper-Evident Bag), and others that do not accept them. Do some research so you can find out what is applicable for your itinerary. Absolutely. Iceland is another country where there is a huge business at the duty-free on arrivals store. ALL of the locals stop there before leaving the customs area. And every visitor should as well. To the best of my knowledge, Stockholm (ARN) does not have DF on arrival, but I am open to being corrected.
  5. Nope....it just increases the alcohol consumption on board....by a quanta level or two.
  6. Pardon my asking, but why would you fly from Dallas to Chicago to Ft Lauderdale when American has numerous non-stops from Dallas to both FLL and MIA? About 20 daily between the two destinations. Seems to be overly complicating things.
  7. Well, on the original topic of photo shots of Fuji: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/japan-town-building-big-screen-blocking-view-mount-fuji-tourism-rcna150155
  8. There's a reason for this. It's called time zones. Flying SEA to ATL is over 2100 miles and about 5 hours of flight time. So a flight leaving at noon Pacific time arrives at about 8pm Eastern. Just in time for the last connection bank. So there's little reason to have other afternoon flights getting in late at night, or after midnight Eastern. Thus, nothing until the red-eyes, which arrive in time for the morning connections at ATL. You'll find this not just from SEA, but also SFO and LAX -- eastbounds have this afternoon lull for transcons. There is one DL flight that leaves SEA mid-afternoon, but since it arrives around midnight, there's no onward connection until morning. It's pretty much for local market, and to rotate aircraft back to ATL for maintenance.
  9. And some may have wanted to go to St Helena, Namibia and South Africa.
  10. Sorry to break this to you, but not really concerned at all about you or your plans. In any case, you seem happy with whatever you may have. What I AM concerned about is getting accurate information to the other folks who, just possibly, are reading this thread. It is, after all, a public resource, and about more than just your specific trip.
  11. Suggestion.....save the images to your computer. Then use an image program, such as XNView, where you can rotate the images, as well as view them. IMO, always far easier to deal with separate images than trying to read within web pages.
  12. I am going to assume that after Rio, the ship will make a few other Brazil stops before Ilheus. Are they talking Buzios and Vitoria? Both are delightful stops IMO. (Nothing on the pics for March 6-8) Thanks.
  13. Not sure how you are finding first class seats on United long-haul. Were you talking about business class, which is significantly different from first? Also, your "limited availabilty" is interesting. UA has 48 biz seats on the 789 from LAX to SYD, and 60 seats on the 773 from SFO.
  14. If you are getting this information from a seat map, know that those do NOT show actual inventory. Many times, seats are either unassigned OR are blocked but not associated with actual tickets. So can be highly inaccurate.
  15. Are you talking about the seats available to Viking, or all of the seats on the flight? It's relatively easy to know actual overall inventory.
