Wish I knew that early in the cruise. Have had tea service in the cabin in Victoria for many years. At least now I know and can plan accordingly. And yes...LOTS of food!! B

On my recent Discovery sailing, a menu was offered, but they were more than willing to mix things up. However, they were out of many of the ingredients. Very limited choices. B

Recently off the Discovery Princess. Called 2 days prior for afternoon tea service in Victoria. Was told Elite afternoon tea was only served in cabin on sea days. I politely explained that was not my experience in the past. They politely told me "too bad, so sad". Sea days only. B

Latest information. A group (including corporate staff) was having an informal staff meeting this morning in Sabatini's. I went over and asked when the switch would happen and when O'Malley's would be open. They said in Vancouver, May 4th. When the ship transitions to Alaska. The switch may actually happen, but I'm not so sure about O'Malley's. Still a lot of construction to be completed. In fact, nothing at all has been accomplished in the Gelato area. B

Onboard now. Switch has not been made and O'Malley's still under construction. No update on timing. B

I, too, am a widow and will be following along. The Volendam was one of my DD DH's favorite ships. B

Hmmm... I read it differently. I thought the restaurant manager said the swaps (Sabatini's and The Catch) would happen within 10 days. A subsequent post from last evening showed O'Malley's signage. I guess I'll know next Saturday! Thanks, everyone. B

Ironically received Conditional Approval of my Global Entry renewal this week. It took 12 months. Required an interview for the renewal. Found an opening for an interview in Austin available on Sunday. About a 2 hour drive from where I live. I want to get it done because I return from Vancouver in May. Don't want any issues. At least I'll be set for a few years. B

Hi, Lisa I'd love to start with a Cosmo. Then have the Ceasar followed by Beef Wellington. Skip dessert, but have cappuccino with a side of Baileys...or two. 😊 B

I am experiencing a lengthy delay with my Global Entry renewal. It expired in June of 2023. I processed the renewal in March of 2023. It is still showing "Pending Review" I understand benefits have been extended by 24 months. Hopefully it will still work when I fly in late April/early May. A bit frustrated. B

I feel lucky! Have the Premier package and booked 2 evenings in the Crown Grill via the App. Credit card was not charged. B
