  1. Once you find the thread just copy the URL from the address bar of your browser and paste it into the post.
  2. I know at one point the fee was waived for suite and Zenith guests. I suspect maybe some levels of Blue Chip as well. I've never been charged the fee either but most times I'm doing OBC. Years ago there were no fees and people were taking the daily max to run up points on their credit cards and not really spending in the Casino, just taking the cash home.
  3. Since the booking is created at the time you purchase onboard I'm pretty sure it's 30 days from that point.
  4. This policy should really be questioned with a query to the executive office. I don't believe there is any restriction on military discount on any other cruise only booking in other categories. It really doesn't seem right. The reduced OBC doesn't sound right either if the single is paying the 200%.
  5. @Sam.Seattle That is an interesting detail. In the past the common understanding was that you could change to another stateroom in the same category assigned. I had one time where the very experienced Celebrity rep refused to change my GTY assignment saying that's why it was a GTY and if I wanted to change I had to pay the category prevailing rate. When my TA came in on Monday he changed without issue. Now I guess with them trying to up occupancy with 3&4th guests sailing free they need to keep the higher occupancy rooms available. There are some sailings where the higher occupancy cabins aren't shown when you are booking for 2. Anyway thanks for the data point.
  6. And remember they are running the 3&4 sail free quite often now.
  7. I still don't understand why anyone does a "book later" certificate. Just book a "named" sailing as far out in the future as you can with a refundable deposit. Then when you decide on an actual sailing just move the reservation to that ship/sail date. At that time you can even choose to change it to the NRD rate. If you decide not to cruise you can cancel and get the deposit refunded without the 1 year limit.
  8. I think they request that you do it at least 3 weeks prior to the sailing. I've done it well over a year in advance.
  9. Someone messed up. Since you booked suites with your "Book Later Certificate" (technically a FCC is something very different on Celebrity) they TA was supposed to collect the additional deposit of 10%. There is no "reduced deposit" for suites on Celebrity. Even if you used those for a non-suite booking and you named the second passenger I believe you were supposed to pay another $100 deposit. Consider yourself lucky.
  10. This scenario would not result in open cabins in lower level categories. Yes this is exactly what I was talking about.
  11. Agree with Jim. If Celebrity does anything it's a very nice good will gesture.
  12. I wonder if they had sold a bunch of GTY and when the ship actually sold out assigned the GTY's
  13. If you have never read it here before the menus on the app are totally incorrect until just about the time you board the ship.
  14. Personally I would cancel the Premier Access. Priority embarkation for suites is better. I would arrive between 10:30 and 11. If you are at terminal 25 go to the far left doors for Retreat. You will be taken upstairs to the suite embarkation lounge to be checked in and will be escorted to the ship as soon as it's cleared for boarding. Luminae will be open for lunch around 11:30 or 12. Suites have reserved seating in the theater on Chic nights, really no big deal, not the best seats in the house. I've never seen the need for reserved seating in the theater on Celebrity. Just arrive about 10 minutes before showtime
