We will be in Naples on Friday 12 June and we are intending to see Herculaneum, go to the top of Vesuvius and go to the Archeologoical Museum in Naples. Ship is in port from 7 am to 8 pm, so I think this is all possible.

We will be in Naples on July 31 & Salerno on Aug. 3. Were going to do Herculaneum out of Naples as we have done Pompeii, or is it closer out of Salerno (just added this AM as Tunis was dropped). Would appreciate a copy of your notes on Herculaneum as it may be better than what e have planned.

Cruisermom, when I saw this board started in 2012, there was no way I thought it would still be active today. I would love a copy of your notes on Herculaneum and Pompeii. I can see we will need to return to this area to do it justice. Thanks you for sharing your research.
