Cape Liberty/Bayonne Parking Options

What are the options for parking if you don't want to use the facility at the terminal?

You might find more information over at the home ports section of CC.

You are closer so this may not be helpful, but for us staying in a hotel that had a shuttle and free parking was actually cheaper than paying for parking.

Google ParkWiz and put in "Bayonne NJ" and follow the prompts. Elsewhere on this thread it was mentioned and the initial comments were not so favorable, but the initial comments are 2-3 yrs old. More recent comments seem OK as are recent comments on the "Parkwiz" site.

We recommend using the onsite parking. You can currently walk the block or so distance from the lot to the terminal, or you can wait for the frequent shuttle buses, some of which are wheelchair lift equipped.

The offsite, nearby (about two miles), lot is somewhat cheaper, but I have heard complaints of long waits for their shuttle...not so much when embarking, as people arrive over a more spread out time period, but especially bad when returning, as people are all trying to disembark in a relative short period. In fact, some have given up waiting, and taken a taxi back to the offsite lot...

If you don't mind the potential wait, the offsite parking can save you a bit...

Incidentally, I went looking for Premier Parking a couple weeks ago...could not find it, and saw zero signs along 440 or anyplace ...so either the signs are VERY small, I am blind, or they're covered over with weeds...

I rode up and down a couple times, but I didn't have time to go on an expedition....if you do a google street view of the address, it doesn't look like anyplace I'd want to leave a car...
