beerman2 Posted August 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Yes have been there and DW purchased a pair. Yes it is an easy walk from the pier. Trying to think of the name Kino's comes to mind, but not positive. Just down the street from Hog's Breath in a little plaza.
bhopal21 Posted August 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2012 That is correct, Kino's Sandals on Fitzpatrick St just behind Hog's Breath Saloon. Mike:)
debshomespun Posted August 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I have a pair of sandals I got there 5 or 6 years ago, and love them! They are all leather, and totally "made in the USA!"
cirman52 Posted August 19, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted August 19, 2012 thanks, I knew the name, was afraid that if I posted the name, a red flag would go up & delete the post.
sail7seas Posted August 20, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2012 Thanks for the reminder about the sandal store. I had forgotten about it. Now I'm adding that to our 'to do list' for Key West. :)
Rare cruiselvr04 Posted August 21, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 21, 2012 Got a black pair 7 years ago and still wear them alot - they don't look it and are super comfortable with the "string" between the toes. ($10 then). Going back in October and will get another pair.
threeofus Posted August 21, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 21, 2012 Been there a few times. Not all of the employees are helpful. So, step back and work with someone who is patient. I was told they did not have what I wanted in stock...left....returned only to have another person reach into a bin and get me exactly what I had asked for in the first place. I know they can get busy - but BUSY is a GOOD thing not a bad thing.
wrigley80 Posted August 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 26, 2012 oooooo I love Kino Sandals. I bought 3 pair when we were in Key West in March. I have worn them just about every day this summer :p

It is right next door to the Hogs Breath Saloon retail store

curious_st Posted September 1, 2012 #12 Share Posted September 1, 2012 Does the store have the hair batteries that are shown on their website? Are they nice? They are only a few dollars online, so I wonder about the quality.
