Here's a map.

Last time we sailed on Celebrity departing from Barcelona it seemed we were even further down the pier, but they all are of a distance.

We were at D and another cruise ship was maybe at A. The ones closest to las Ramlas are small piers, too small for large ships

Your map shows buses at many of the piers. Does this mean that if you take a taxi to the port, you are dropped off at the entrance and take a port bus to where your ship is docked?

NO!

There is a "port bus" for those that want a cheap way to get to the bottom of La Rambla, but taxis go right to the ships.

A taxi will take you directly to your particular terminal entrance.

Hi there

We too are on this cruise Silhouette Western Med Sept 9 - handy info re the berthing at Barcelona.

Have you thought about joining the roll call for this cruise? It is rather quiet right now but as time counts down I expect it to get busier.

Here is a link to the roll call

Celebrity berths at Moll Adossat in Barcelona where there are four terminals A- D. Celebrity is usually berthed at C or D. There are taxi ranks at each terminal and taxis are relatively cheap in Barcelona. As others have said there is also a port bus

When we joined the Constellation back in April it was at berth C. One would have to be prepared for alternate berths though depending upon ships movements at the time. Regardless where it is berthed look for the big white X almost impossible to miss. I would second the suggestion to get a taxi. One doesn't want to start a cruise stressed by having to manhandle large suitcases. As soon as one arrives the terminal there are porters who will take your bags out of the taxi and the next time you see them is outside your cabin. You don't have to tip them either
