Walk ...it is about a 10-15 walk to near the Central train station

it depends on where you are looking to go

The tram is across the road you can buy a single ticket or a 24 hr pass

Can anyone tell me the most ecomonical way to get from the cruise port in Amsterdam to the centre of Amsterdam please?

How far is it? Cost ? Thanks :)

We just finished our cruise and while in Amsterdam, we walked.

It was about a 10 minute walk from the terminal to central station, another 39 minutes to Anne Frank House, and another 35 minutes to either the Van Gogh museum or Rikjmuseum. The walking gave us an opportunity to browse so shops and absorb the atmosphere of the town. We walked all the way back to the ship as well. After dinner we took a 15 minute walk to the red light district. Walking is easy but you have to keep your eyes out for the cyclists.

And also for the trams and cabs using tramtracks.
