For departures from Port Everglades Princess usually opens the check-in counters around 11 am processing those in the Priority Boarding (wedding parties, bon voyage experience guests, passengers in full suites, and elite and platinum loyalty level passengers) line first and then opening the counters to all passengers. Boarding usually begins around noon and in the same order as listed above. Passengers that do not qualify for priority boarding are given a group number at check-in and those numbers are called in order for embarkation. If you want to avoid any wait, check in after 1 pm or so.

Added: You can go directly to your cabin upon check-in. We normally drop off our carry-ons and then go to a lovely lunch available from noon to 1:30 in one of the main dining rooms (the info on which dining room will be on the back page of the Patter newsletter in your cabin).
