Is it $225 total for a Cabana or $225 for each person. Thanks.

DrB

Total per cabana, for which you can have up to 6 people.

We enjoyed the over the water cabana we had a Nellie's beach, back in the days when you booked it online and had access to the upgraded buffet. I'm not sure we would do it again though.

We splurged and got one at Nellie's and yes the shade was great, having the cooler with water was great and the attendant was great .....BUT we were given a cabana that had a ladder you had to climb in order to get in and out of the water.

Maybe not an issue for some folks, but for those of us who are older and more fluffy it was not an easy task. The rungs on the ladder were metal and very narrow so it was hard to hold on.

For us personally we would not do it again...only because is was worth it to us personally.

The cabanas hold 6 people, so it may be worth it if the cost is shared.

I just got off the phone with Royal Caribbean. I was trying to book a cabana. The customer service rep told me this price was per person!

I mean REALLY!

Slightly off topic. Are the Cabanas on Nellie's Beach worth $225? They are now being "advertised." They say though that they must be booked on-board.

Definitely! If you aren't in a suite might not be able to book! The cabanas are comfortable, you have great seating and in the cabana you are provided with towels, cold water, a "noodle to use" and your cabana butler will also set you up seats with a lounge chair by the water. He will also bring you beverages and if you have the beverage package no additional charges. We also were escorted to the suite barbecue area on Labadee.

We have an upcoming cruise in December and this time aren't in a suite- so I am concerned we might not get a cabana.

We love them- Nellies beach great with kids- the Hillside beautiful views and quiet and the over the water- look great- but we never had those. Worth the $225- or $250 paid.

That person was wrong. In addition, I "assume" you are in a Grand Suite and above or you can no longer book a Cabana until you board. Also great for 4- but if you have more, can squeeze in another two.

We were in Labadee last week and had one of the beach beds and we really liked it. It was nice to have a place to get out of the sun and the bed was pretty comfortable to lay down on. The beds also come with a couple of floating mats and a cooler with iced down bottles of water.

The beds have dedicated staff of 4 or 5 people to take care of them which included drink service. The staff spent quite a bit of time policing the area, mostly to keep people off the beds who hadn't paid for them, but they also would not allow people to put the blue pop-up tents anywhere in front of the beds so they weren't blocking your view of the water.

The beds are on Adrenaline Beach, which is quite rocky, especially in the water, but is not an issue if you have water shoes. We enjoyed being on that beach as we were by the zip line and could see and hear everybody going on the ride. There was quite a bit of foot traffic in that area, so the further down the beach you can get the better.
