will I make a 12:15 flight at FCO from Civitavecchia

I'm considering a cruise on the NCL Jade that docks in Civitavecchia at 5am.

Are there ship's shuttle (at a cost) that can get you there?

There's only one 12:15 flight home and I don't have the vacation time to stay another night.

Let me know if you've done it and how close a call it was.

If you read down the board, you will see this asked almost daily. Yes, you will make your flight.

The transport options are many, although train is out of the question for you. Private venders are recommended, taxis are possible, and the ship will offer transfers.

I have made the 10:20 am flight twice at FCO.

Unlikely though it is, what is your back up plan should you miss your flight due to a docking delay, transport to the airport is held up, or if your flight is moved forward (very rare, but not impossible)?

Will there be other flights you can take and do you have the flexibility in your ticket to get another flight if you miss it?

That easily should be plenty of time. We have caught several flights back to the USA departing around that time. Find another couple on your roll call to share private transport from the dock to the airport; reasonably priced that way.
