Cases of water

Yes, there is a COOP store in Piazzale Roma, but carrying a few cases would still be a hike even using the People Mover. . .you might be better off with a few large bottles, then stocking up on a few more in each port, Me, I just drink the ship water. . .

Just so you know - the ship's water and any tap water in Italy is safe to drink. The public drinking fountains in Rome have some of the best municipal water I've ever tasted. If you must do bottled, do what another poster suggested - pick up just a few big bottles and replenish at your stops.

Is there a store close by the cruise terminals in Venice where I can pick up a few cases of water to bring on board? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Don't join the hordes of folks who waste time, energy and money on cases of bottled water when ship's water is as good as (if not better than) anything you'll find in a store. Bring a reusable bottle.
