Rare babs135 Posted February 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Can anyone tell me how long the ride is on this? DH hates heights but if it is a very short trip I might be able to get him to give it a go. Thanks
GradUT Posted February 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2017 It's been several years since I rode the scenic cableway at the Blue Mountains, but my memory is that is was not a "very short" ride. Rare vickykay Posted February 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2017 We were just there two weeks ago. My husband is also afraid of heights but it was fine. Very enclosed and only two or three minutes. Wonderful views and ny husbandcwas glad he did it. Enjoy.

The ride is not real long, but I think for someone that hates heights, it might be a problem. Our tour guide left us at the cable car and met us on the other side, perhaps you could arrange for DH to go with the guide.
leongcpa Posted February 24, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Here's a video of the ride at Scenic World: http://www.scenicworld.com.au/experience/scenic-railway/ It was a couple minutes long, and I had a great time....
celle Posted February 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Here is a link to a site about the cable car - which is what the OP asked about: http://www.scenicworld.com.au/experience/scenic-cableway/ The previous poster gave a link to the railway, not the cable car.
