Do you want to build a snowman...

Friends of mine, an Aussie couple currently living in Wales, are cruising in Norway. Sorry, I don't know which ship or even what cruise line but they are in Tromsø at the moment.

Anyway, he has posted photos and a video on FaceBook of his DW building a snowman on the pool deck while the rest of the pax and crew are keeping warm and muttering about this mad Aussie woman.

I think you could have the whole pool to yourself. ;p

Can tell it was built by Aussies - where's the carrot nose and buttons down the front, also don't like the proportions of head versus body sheesh LOL

Probably a Hurtigruten cruise. We have a northern lights cruise booked for next January so will see if the kids and I can build a better snowman. One other thing I am looking forward to is the lack of chair hogs by the pool! :-)

Alaska or Norway/Iceland very late season (relocation cruises make it a good chance) also Antarctica cruises.:D

We did this too as well as just drawing pictures (smiley faces, etc) in the snow on the deck when it is a bit thinner.

Thanks for photos on this thread, which make me smile. I have never experienced snow on a ship, even in Antarctica.

Our family always make snow angels, when we are in snow in the US, much to the amusement of our American friends, who have never heard of snow angels.

Your American friends must not get out much. We absolutely know what snow angels are, and make them regularly :) (OK, only when it snows....)

I have also made sand angels and soot angels.:p

They are back "home" in the UK now. The ship was P&O Oriana.
