Rare Scrapnana Posted June 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2017 All the usual suspects will be in Juneau on Monday (and for the next 15 weeks!). Eurodam will be at the AS dock from 1300-2200 and Nieuw Amsterdam at the CT dock from 1300-2200. Joining them will be Solstice at the AJ dock (1330-2200) and Ruby Princess at the FKL dock (1100-2215). The forecast is for cloudy with a 90% chance of rain. High will only be 55F/13C and low of 49F/9C). Sunrise will be at 3:56 am and sunset at 9:54 pm.. The PTZtv webcam can be found at http://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ . Happily@Sea Posted June 5, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 5, 2017 Thanks, Kathi - looks like the webcam needs windshield wipers!:) If the operator is there when the ships start to arrive, the camera will be shaken side to side - dispelling the worse of the raindrops. Sequim88 Posted June 5, 2017 #22 Share Posted June 5, 2017 Watching weather up there for Oosterdam next week. Looking pretty cold and maybe wet. Expecting pretty much exactly what we are seeing now. :( NW marine flow looks pretty well entrenched for a few weeks more. Obviously PTZ has seasonal port cameras, like Juneau. I wonder if there could ever be one at Seattle. The Space Needle camera is not real-time and too far away. A camera on the Seattle Marina next door to Pier 91 would be good, especially since HAL tends to dock on that side. Does the location (like the Hanger) need to "sponsor" the camera? Eurodam at Thane.
