pnhmrk Posted August 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2007 Colin - Those were excellent:) I particularly liked (all of it but I'm going to single out) the shot at the end of section 4, Arrival in New York, that shows the view of Manhattan over the bows. That alone is reason for us to want to dock there rather than Red Hook:)

travel-to-go Posted August 30, 2007 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Colin, Those were absolutely marvelous. Thank you for posting them! The use of music was fabulous! I loved the waves. I recognized the Golden Lion Pub windows at one point, and I think the ones on 2 deck. Also great shots of the dancing. That had to be Grucci fireworks show. that smiley face is one of their signatures. I heard an interview from one of the Gruccis just before fourth of july this year. I think they have that patented or something. )Maybe trademarked? I forget) Absolutely marvelous! Karie, who is REALLY looking forward to her double crossing now! I hope it's bouncy! msk68 Posted August 30, 2007 #15 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Colin, Thanks SO much for posting those videos. They are amazing - can't say what I liked the most although seeing the Commodore is always a treat. The brief scenes from the Golden Lion make me so 'shipsick'! travel-to-go Posted August 30, 2007 #16 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Are those the same people that do the Foxwoods fireworks at Sailfest in New London every year? They are amazing! Not sure, but I am sure you could look that up. I think they do the 4th at Riverfest in Hartford every year. I didn't know there was fireworks at sailfest! (Of course I've always been during the day!) They are about the most famous fireworks company. I'm sure they must have a web site!
