Great article..thanks for posting the link.

Having experienced Oasis last Sept...definitely agree that food quality and dining service are not its strong suit (if it has one)...To us it was an oversized .floating mall & food court.....but many folks love it!

Mdr food was pedestrian, service lackluster. Some of specialty spots were one step above but nothing memorable..Chops much better on other Royal ships...waiter tried to hawk a cookbook and wine aerator during dessert at a family b-day dinner...tacky

one surprise was a great dinner we enjoyed at the rear cafe...which at night becomes a lively tablecloth restsurant with perfect service and excellent menu...well prepared!

Anyhow...happily back to Celebrity in Nov

Highlights how much care is put into the dining experience, which is definitely what we saw on the Equinox this summer!

Thanks so much for posting this.

It helped to convince me that I have absolutely no desire to try either Oasis or Allure, or any other ship of that size.

One of the main reasons I keep on reading Cruise Critic is for the good information like this that gets posted here from time to time.

(But the silly arguments here are fun and entertaining too.) :D
