cricket722 Posted May 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2016 Hi Everyone, I noticed a few posts say NCL - Escape has Pepsi products. Does anyone know if Mountain Dew was available or should we bring our own? Thanks for your time and advice.

BuckeyeFan03 Posted May 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 27, 2016 I'll chime in with my experience just in case it is helpful... I'll start by admitting I'm a little picky when it comes to drinks for some reason. I don't like any soft drinks with the exception of Mountain Dew. When I was on the Epic in 2014, I was so excited to see that they had Mountain Dew, that I bought the soft drink package. I immediately got one and it was not recognizable as Mountain Dew. I poured it out, thinking something was wrong with their machine, and tried again later at a different location, but the taste was the same. NCL was kind enough to refund my soft drink package and all was well. So, even if the Escape claims to offer Mountain Dew, you still may want to bring some of your own. rzscott79 Posted May 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 27, 2016 I am a Mt Dew lover. They served it on the Jewel this past December. It was regular Mt Dew they either poured out of a can or from a bottle. I've had Mt Dew in foreign countries that weren't the same as the US (Japan, Germany). Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

dexddd Posted May 28, 2016 #12 Share Posted May 28, 2016 I know you are asking about Escape, but they had Mt. Dew on Spirit this past December. I've also seen Mug Root Beer on every sailing we've been on going back to 2009.
Sotermarler Posted May 29, 2016 #13 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Yep so different in different parts of the world, I'm mainly a Pepsi Max or Diet Pepsi drinker, if they hand me an American can I know first mouthful. I used to be a Diet Pepsi drinker until they recently changed the formula in the US. I didn't hear about it for a while after it was changed. I though I had bought 2 cases of bad soda! I kept dumping them thinking they were all old or something. I'm very disappointed they changed the formula. On the up side, it's pretty much cured my diet soda addiction. dexddd Posted May 30, 2016 #15 Share Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) Is Diet Mtn Dew also available on the Norwegian Escape? Again, can't talk about Escape but I haven't seen diet Mt. Dew on any NCL ship. The diet selection on NCL is very limited. That being said, they did have reg. Mt Dew that I saw for the first time in December so you never know. So if you want Diet Mt. Dew best to take some on yourself. Edited May 30, 2016 by dexddd

Nola26 Posted May 31, 2016 #17 Share Posted May 31, 2016 Mt Dew isn't listed as a beverage in the room fridge at $2.95/can. I'm not sure if the room steward can help with that. On the Getaway I only had soft drinks as part of my casino perks so I didn't see the bar prepare the drinks. I'm now sure if they had it on gun or just in the plastic bottles. Whatever it was it was refreshing.
