Further upgrades?

I received the cabin assignment last week for a trip starting in 13 days (as of today). N GTY to F which is nice.

Is there any chance of further upgrades or upsells? Just want to know so that I can finalise ny cabin number for whatever.

I should say that for this sailing, verandah/balcony are sold out (with the exception of the sole big suite) and so are most upper category of outside views on all segments of the voyage (not being sold as a collectors).

It is possible. But not sure what the chances are, would think they are slim.

Of course someone will come on and say it happened to then, and that is great. But it doesn't tell you the chances.

Ofcourse there is always a possibility of another upgrade or up sell. Though within the parameters you have given, I'd say no.

I see that you will be sailing on the Zaandam which has fewer verandahs and only 1 PS.

Please don't hold out your hopes for another upgrade.

But I will say a prayer for you.

Someone on the Grand Asia received three stateroom assignments, so you never know!

As to upsells, you never know, either!

We were offered the long awaited upsell on the 21 day Zaandam holiday cruise last December from an HH to a verandah, which we took. This was one week prior to our departure date. Good luck...it could happen! We had a wonderful time on the Zaandam.

Karen that just happened to us too. We are on the Volendam and received the upsell for this Sat. (27th). What a surprise, we took it too.

Have you requested an upsell? It will greatly increase your chances of being offered one.

I tend agree with Melodie that your chances are slim. We did have one trip though where we booked an SZ guarantee, and were assigned an SS, and then upgraded to an SA the night before the trip.
