Day 9, Saturday, November 21, 2015, At Sea (Homeward Bound)

Tonight we turn our watches back one hour!

I believe there was a recent post that said the beach was back.

Yes the beach is back although very small. We were just there yesterday at the Sunset Bar plane watching. :)

Surfs Up!

Early this morning before the ship slowed down it was too dark to get decent photos of the waves in the pool sloshing over the sides and ends.

Later on when it was light enough to take some decent photos the ship had slowed down and the size of the waves is now much smaller.

Thanks again Trainman for an excellent report, love the surfs up! Hope you are feeling better!

Thanks Trainman. We board on Monday and meet up with Friends who are on with you. Hope our Chop experience is good.

This morning we had breakfast in the MDR.

The food was good but the process of getting served was slow.

We had lunch today at a table with chairs in the Smoking Area on the Pool Deck Today.

Judith guarded my chair while I walked to Parks for sandwiches.

I love all the food porn, and other pictures! It looks like you guys are still managing to enjoy yourselves, even though you aren't feeling your best.

Pet Paradise looks like a great place!

Had to stop by our local Vet the other day. They had a sign that they were offering turkey dinners for pets boarded over Thaksgiving (cost $8).

We love our pets!

When we were on the Allure on a TA last month, the Seas were pretty rough once we hit the Atlantic. At one point one of the pools totally emptied itself on a woman sitting minding her own business in Central Park! A shock no doubt! After that they emptied all the pools for a couple of days.

Day 10, Sunday, November 22, 2005, At Sea, (Almost Home)

Yesterday was a day of rest. I took 3 naps but still managed to spend some time reading and relaxing on the pool deck.

The Ship is in excellent condition and everywhere I look I can see that it is well maintained.

The crew is fantastic!

Even our fellow passengers and smokers have been helpful. There is a limited number of "regular" chairs in the smoking area. We often drag over pool chairs when the regular chairs are in use or gone. I can't set in the pool chairs without help getting up and out of them so when I walk up someone almost always offers me their "regular" chair.

We have not been to the CL or DL yet and probably won't go tonight.

I did bring one pair of long pants but I have not worn them at all.

We have a great group of new friends in the smoking are and we are very happy spending time with them.
