danny8826 Posted September 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2016 Our ship (Serenade of the Seas) disembarks on Jan 2, 2017 at Port Everglades. Besides our ship, I believe the Allure of the Seas will also disembark the same day. Our domestic flight is at 11:35 AM. Would you suggest taking taxi or the transfer from the ship to the airport? Thank you. Danny

danny8826 Posted September 30, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted September 30, 2016 Taxi. Definitely taxi. Only about 15 minutes from port to airport. Thank you, but would it be difficult to catch a taxi? If my flight is at 11:35 AM, should I plan to be in the taxi line by 9:00 AM? Thanks. Danny

If alone you could share ride with others disembarking passengers to save even more. The earlier out the better as it can get crowded later on although we've always have found there are plenty of taxis at PE so the lines go quickly. I personally would try to be in line for 8:30am to give a better margin of safety. Likely 9 am would be OK as you're on a domestic flight. Me personally would use the Luggage Valet program. For flights out of FLL flights must be 11:30 am or later so you qualify. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contentWithHero.do?pagename=luggage_valet_service
