GranysT Posted August 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2017 As far as the cruise line is concerned, you're taking 2 separate cruises. 2 different S&S cards. So yes, you do have to attend the muster drill for each cruise.
NWACruiser Posted August 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2017 You can skip the second muster drill if you want to the put ashore before it sails. We had to do both muster drills. Our muster station was in the same location for both cruises. They do a roll call in the muster station for each drill. If your cabins are in different locations, then the muster station may be different.

coevan Posted August 19, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 19, 2017 no more hiding they scan all sign and sail cards, we had to wait 15 minutes for a couple of knuckleheads who thought they were above everybody else. They actually paged them on the LOUD P.A. system and called out their cabin number. They were booed when they arrive in the showroom. They will not start the muster drill until everyone was accounted for.
jmcancruise Posted August 19, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 19, 2017 You all may very well be right that now that they scan sail and sign cards that you can't get away with skipping, but I will tell you that more than once we were told by our room steward when we were doing a b2b. That we could lay low and skip the muster drill since we were in the same cabin. Once was just this spring on the Glory.
Sixtytwo Posted August 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 19, 2017 Jmcancruise, we had the same experience. Cabin steward tole us to just hang out in the cabin for the second leg. No problem. On our latest cruise, they did not scan any cards as we entered the show lounge on Dream, but we did go.
