How Splendid is SPLENDOR ? *** LIVE Report *** in Pictures and Ship Review 09/20/14

Was down to Port this morning to check out the ship.

ahhh the reason I booked the Splendor.

I didnt know they made wraps here.

The wraps aren't made at the wok, they are made at the burrito bar . . . it is nestled between two buffet stations almost all the way aft but still in the inside dining area.

OMG, love the Whale Tale pic. You take such unusual photos that turn pout amazing! Keep it coming. :D:D

Question, at night are their comedy shows, my hubby and I are in are late 40s and he like to stay up and dance, go to shows at night. I was not sure if this ship shuts down by 11:00 pm other than the casino. IT was like that on our Alaska cruise, older crowd and not much night life.

If it is at all possible I would love to know what movies were shown on the boat.

OMG....awesome...I almost feel like I am on the ship with you. EXCEPT I do not have a towel animal on my bed and no chocolates on my pillow and I have to make my own breakfast in the morning. :mad::mad: Oh, well, at least I can look forward to another day"cruising with you." Goes to maybe midnight, they usually have the family friendly shows earlier in the evening (7-9). Then it's the Adult Only shows later in the evening (10-12)

Great pics OP. Thanks for sharing. I'm on the Splendor 11/1 for the San Juan to Miami repo cruise. The pics help me not feel so lost.

I've read about the Splendor having a Rotisserie Chicken station. Have you seen it? Tried it? I'd love a pic if you can. I'm hoping it can help me eat "healthy" a few days.

Just watched you coming into Saint John Harbour. This is a great review. Beautiful pics. I can't wait to see more.

This ship is Alive and Kicking way past 11:00 PM...I was there! Some of the late night comedy shows don't start until 11:45 and then are followed by another type of dance party. You can easily stay up till 2:AM.

Amazing pics! I'm going November 16th.

We leave this Saturday but do all the ports in reverse -- Boston is our first stop.

Looks like you enjoyed good weather. We are hoping for the same.

Did they have a pirate night? Seems like there was some talk awhile back of it being done on all ships starting in September.

we'll be on the Splendor for the second time this Saturday. Went to the Bahamas from NYC in December and decided to try the Canada itinerary.

the Rotisserie is fabulous, juicy rotisserie chicken, mac n cheese, and yummy yummy cornbread. I'm making myself hungry.

the Sea Day Brunch...........can you say fabulous ?........steak and eggs and it is a filet ! so good ! the honey nut cherios french toast was actully pretty good and don't talk about the bread basket..........yum yum yum !

just checked the weather for all the ports and it looks like we are going to have fabulous weather in all the ports. High 60's to high 70's and 0% chance of rain. BOO YAH ! ! ! !
