Crown Bay to Downtown St. Thomas

How long does it take to get from Crown Bay to downtown St. Thomas? Is there a lot of traffic? Is there a water taxi?

We've always docked at Havensight before.

Is there shopping at Crown Bay?

Town is no more than 10 minutes by taxi at, I think, $5 pp each way.

Easy 15-20 minute walk

It's a little further from Charlotte Amalie than Havensight...... downtown is between the two docks.

We enjoyed walking from Havensight but when HAL started docking at Crown Bay, we started to take the jitney taxi. There is a stretch in the road with no sidewalks and it isn't as pleasant a walk as from Havensight.

Completely paved following the signs through the marina parking. Took the taxi downtown first and I know what you mean but do not need to walk that way. Walked back and easily found the shortcut through the marina.

It is about 2 miles from Crown Bay to town. There is a sidewalk the whole way now. It may not be quite as picturesque as from Havensight to town, but it is flat.

Do yourself a favor and take a taxi! ;)
