We've not sailed Norwegian prior but we have a cruise on the Epic coming up in a few weeks, to/from Barcelona. We've booked cabin 16003, H4 in the Haven. Don't want to appear ignorant but on other postings I've read comments about "your PCC" and special requests for your cabin, I don't have a clue where to find this info.

Like I stated above, this is our first cruise on Norwegian and find their website very confusing, even when logged in to my account. I've tried unsuccessfully to find out if they have a wine package, something like we could order several bottles to drink onboard. We're not interested in their ULtimate Beverage programs or similar, but would like a wine package like we've had on other cruise lines.

Thanks for any help, comments or just plain info.

Some PCC references are to a Personal Cruise Consultant, who is just an NCL reservation specialist who acts like a travel to book your cruise.

But I believe the PCC you are looking for is the Pre Cruise Concierge. This is who as a suite guest you can contact to make arrangements for amenities, reservations or special needs or requests before you board the ship.

I believe the phone # is 1-855-625-4283

hope this helps!:)

You will find the answers to the vast majority of your questions right here.

1 - Scroll down the page for a week or so and read. You will find answers to questions you did not even know you had.

2 - Come back and ask any specific questions you still have.

So you are booked into a Suite (Haven H4 class) - when booked into this

class of staterooms Haven; Garden and Owners Suite there are some alcoholic

beverages that included complimentary with that class of stateroom.

If hard high test liquor is not your forte talk with your pcc; butler or concierge

about swapping these items out for something on the wine list.

It is to NCLs advantage to do this - wine is great deal less expensive than

liter bottles of hard booze !

There is no such person as a Pre Cruise Concierge, but there are several customer service reps manning Pre-cruise Concierge Desk and taking requests that are added to the reservation notes.

The people answering phones and emails help with things that even a PCC or TA can book, take reservations to venues that can also be booked 10 days later by any passenger through the website, but unlike the concierge onboard, they have no authority to promise anything outside the pillow/towel/coffee/tea selection questionnaire, and they only forward requests to be handled by the actual concierge and butler once onboard.

In my experience the services of pre-cruise concierge desk have been pretty much worthless to us, we have never had everything we have requested (even some things on the official questionnaire) done onboard without having to ask again onboard. So I recon why bother, I'll just give our requests directly to the butler after we have boarded.

We never have these, but if there was a request for a reservation possible only onboard, then I'd like to get the message relayed to the actual concierge already before boarding.

You are correct, it is called the Concierge desk. The "Pre-Cruise Concierge" was the name I gave the thread to define the service.

In all due respect, our experiences with this service vary widely, as I have rarely been disappointed by this service and suite set-up. Butlers and Concierges have replied when asked that they prefer requests made ahead of time. It is easier for them to set up a suite in the morning the way a passenger wants it than to reorganize after embarkation.
