Feelingroovy Posted June 18, 2012 #18 Share Posted June 18, 2012 From the photo, it looks as though the Sea Princess's balconies are different from other ships I've been on. Are they? Diane
Gay Cruiser Posted June 18, 2012 #19 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Dawn, Sun, and Sea Princess ship balconies are "HULL" balconies, they cut holes in the hull, and put a rail and panel on the edge of the hull. Diamond, and the new Royal all have balconies attached to the HULL of the ship. I like both the Hull balconies can provide more protection from the elements. We will be on the Sea Princess in Aug. 2012 to Alaska.
Feelingroovy Posted June 19, 2012 #20 Share Posted June 19, 2012 Thank you Gay Cruiser for the explanation. I'm glad there are railings. I was afraid that one would have to stand to see the water. Enjoy your trip to Alaska! Diane
