Seaquarium beach questions

Can anyone tell me about Seaquarium Beach? It looks like there is lots of shade. Is there an entry fee? Is it hard to get a chair rental? Shopping, restaurants and beach? Anything else there. Not wanting to actually go to the aquarium, just the beach. Anything you can tell me would be great. Thanks

Entrance fee to the beach is a few US dollars. The prices for chairs/umbrellas and cabanas will be listed on a sign near the walkway as you get to the beach, but note that the prices may not be in US dollars. I think we've paid $15 to $20 for two lounges and an umbrellas or $25 for a cabana with two chairs with giant pillows, but cannot remember exact prices.

When we went last time, we caught a cab in the city (across the bridge from the cruise port, a moderate walk), and I believe it took about 20-25 minutes to get to Seaquarium/Mambo beach areas.

A taxi from the port to the beach cost me $5 (5 people in taxi). Rerturning from the beach was a $2 fare (3 people) but we were dropped off in town.

I was one of the first people on the beach that morning and I grabbed a lounge chair. There are plenty of trees on the beach to sit under for shade. A girl came around to collect a $3.50 fee. This I found out was the beach fee as another girl came around to collect a $3.00 chair fee. I don't know what the charge was for the sun beds.

Was it easy to get a cab back to the cruise port? We will be there on a Sunday

Would anyone know if the seaquarium itself, or the beach has lockers?

It would be good to have somewhere to leave our beach stuff whilst we look around the aquarium, then have some beach time afterwards.

Several years ago we took a bus to Seaquarium beach. Can't remember which bus to take or the fare. Does anyone have the current information on this for me?

I think entrance fee to Mambo beach is $3US per person. So if you have 7 adults in your party it'll be $21 to get in.

Was just at this beach this past week. Entrance to beach was $3.50 pp US dollars. Chairs were $3 each. Beautiful beach, a little crowded but plenty of room.

Can you use the pool we have one that can't go into the ocean.
